Maria Saldarriaga's pursuit of the best bread goes back to the old world recipes from her grandmother, her uncle, and her whole family back in Portugal. She has traveled between Portugal and France where she also has family whom she still continues to visit in her pursuit of the best "Old World Recipes."

Maria studied culinary art in Boston, and owned a restaurant and bakery in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Her famous "New World" delicacies have been passed down through the centuries. With the support of her husband, Guillermo, that also has 45 years of experience in the bakery industry, Maria has created a "Treasured Collection of Epicurean Recipes."
